Parsons x Teen Vogue, Pageant, Ect.
Tuesday: March 8th, 2016
Hey guys! I'm still here and posting and didn't forget about you guys! I've been doing stuff with school, another program I started, pageants, working and more! It's been hectic and I haven't been sleeping, but still will be trying to post at least once a week, and this post has tons of stuff going on about my life. How I started Parsons X Teen Vogue online fashion program, also picked out a few dresses and decided on one for prom and one for nationals pageant this summer, also made a new go fund me page, and got accepted to another college to Moore! And I wanted to talk about everything.
First
I was scrolling on facebook and saw this post for a online fashion program with Parsons, a very well known fashion school, as well as Teen Vogue, a great magazine.
I had applied to it and got accepted! I am very greatful, at the end of the course you get a certificate from Parsons that is a great thing to put on your resume. During this it is 5 courses, and you have up to a year to complete all courses that are about 8-10 hours each at your own pace. At the end, I can't wait to get this certificate to help me complete my dream and journey to be a fashion designer. It is great for internships and going out for job opportunities and more! If you're interested in fashion you should check it out.
Next I wanted to mention how I bought 3 dresses in one week to decide between pageants and prom!
I originally picked up these two, because I was going for gold for prom and I love red on me too. The plain gold one I plan on editing, which I will soon, for whatever I wear it too, and the next one the red bottom, gold top will be my nationals dress this summer! Love pageantry, at least these won't go to waste!
I also wanted to show the prom dress I decided on, and this picture doesn't do it justice, because it is in the mirror and bad lighting and I'm standing weird to try to get the whole dress in, but this is me before I have on the heels and i'm in love! It is a vintage and pink dress that could be worn again!
And I wanted to put in a flash back dress pics from previous pageant years of some of my favorite dresses that I definitely want to wear again to something soon.
I also had mentioned earlier I'm going to nationals again. I love pageantry which everyone knows. It helps you become a well rounded person. With interviews, community service/volunteer work, helping with organizations and charities and more. For instance, I took part in the lost cats foundation, volunteer work at Petsmart as my favorite thing as well as other organizations an volunteer work. With Antso, we helped at the boys and girls club, donated money to help the kids in Lulia Village get desks, also made goodie bags to kids in need and more. We are roll models to girls everywhere. It is not based on your beauty outside, it is based on your beauty inside. Your personality, your school work and academics, good grades, and more, to show how well rounded you are.
And I would like to continue my dreams and goals even further to help make a difference in this world, to show there are still good people, roll models for younger girls out here, to help make a difference. And I'd love to help show that, as being Miss Pennsylvania to get my voice out there.
Would mean the world to me if you click my link to help make a difference in the world.gofundme.com/dtsk44v8 Growing up and helping girls all over being a role model with charity and volunteer work.
A message from Lulia Village and the kids we got to help make a difference with!
Also wanted to include another college acceptance from Moore who is offering me a yearly renewable scholarship as well as housing scholarship too. Very greatful.
Thank you so much for keeping posted with me and my blog.
And again check out my gofundme page, for pageantry, to help make a difference, thank you. gofundme.com/dtsk44v8
Thank you, Love always,
