The BEST 5 Netflix Show Series to Check Out!

Thursday: July 13th, 2017.

This may be a little biased being some of my favorite shows and shows I have checked out on Netflix but here are some shows and descriptions if you're looking for something to watch for the rest of the summer or in general. PS: these are just some of my favorites on netflix, I have many more. I can give reviews on movies, netflix, hulu, on tv, etc. just let me know!

1. Riverdale
The secret show of the summer. It aired and finished season one in may to air on netflix just days after. One of the Sprouse twins you may recognize from the Suite Life is on it as jug head. The show takes the characters from the Archie Comics but with a dark twist by putting a town in a murder mystery in just episode 1! They just finished season 1 with season 2 coming to the CW. So a new show to keep an eye out for.
"Archie Andrews starts the school year with the world weighing on his shoulders. He's decided he wants to pursue a future in the music business, but his recently ended clandestine relationship with the music teacher has left him without a mentor, and his friendship with Jughead Jones is in a bad place. Things look like they might be turning around when Veronica Lodge, a new girl, arrives. Despite the instant chemistry, Veronica is hesitant to risk a friendship with Betty -- who has a crush on Archie -- to pursue anything. Amidst all the small-town banality lurks a mystery: the recent tragic death of Jason Blossom, the twin brother of beautiful and popular troublemaker, Cheryl." - Wiki

2. Gossip Girl
"And who am I? That's another secret I'll never tell. You know you love me. XOXO Gossip Girl." This is a show about Manhatten's elite which you have probably heard about from the adventures of Serena Vanderwoodsen and Blair Waldorf. If you're into fashion, secrets and adventure, it is a show to watch. I've watched the series over 5 times. Also plenty of love relationships to fall for. As well as mystery. Whose Gossip Girl? Also the series finished a few years ago so it is all on netflix!
"High school is over for the privileged former students at an exclusive prep school on Manhattan's Upper East Side, but Gossip Girl still shares text-messaged scoops on scandals and heartache. As the graduates embark on their futures, with some attending college and others focusing on burgeoning careers, Gossip Girl continues to stir the pot and feed any potential scandals. And still the identity of Gossip Girl remains a mystery. " - Wiki

3. Gilmore Girls
Just last year in Philly and a bunch of other coffee shops in other cities dressed up as Luke's for the day! If you want to know hat Luke's is check out Gilmore Girls. The whole series is on netflix as well as they picked up a "A Year in the Life" a four part series of Gilmore Girls that is in the air for a second season of it due to the cliff hanger. It is based in a small town known as Stars Hollow with Lorelai and her daughter Rory as a single mother trying to raise her daughter and avoiding help from her rich parents. As Lorelai wants to give Rory the best life all on her own with hard work.
"Set in a storybook Connecticut town populated by an eclectic mix of dreamers, artists and everyday folk, this multigenerational drama about family and friendship centers around Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter, Rory. Lorelai owns the town's bed-and-breakfast, the Dragonfly Inn, with best friend/chef Sookie, and contends with weekly dinners with eccentric, well-off parents Richard and Emily Gilmore (who always have something to say about their daughter's life). After high school, Rory attends Yale University but frequently returns to Stars Hollow to visit her mom." - Wiki

4. Greys Anatomy
Grey's had made a tv run for 13 seasons and now on season 14. They even had a spin off known as Private Practice which is also on netflix, the whole series. And Private Practice helps to fill in answers from some newer seasons. Probably best to watch after season 6 of Grey's. But Grey's started off as a bunch of interns basically to residents to surgeons. They were all in med school trying to complete their residency with personal lives and problems getting in the way. But medicine and saving people always comes first. It is a intense drama where lives are lost and saved every day, but worth the watch if you're ready to cry.
"The medical drama series focuses on a group of doctors at a hospital in Seattle, including several who began their careers at the facility as interns. One of the doctors and the show's namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. She struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital's one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a pre-existing relationship between them -- Webber and Meredith's mother had a personal relationship when Meredith was young." - Wiki

5. Dexter
Another finished series but worth the watch. An intense serial killer drama with a serial killer who only kills criminals, being born in blood himself (if you want to know what that means you must watch!). He works for Miami police department as a forensics scientist but not you're every day one. And is he capable of feelings being a killer? Find out!!
"Dexter Morgan is a Miami-based blood spatter expert who doesn't just solve murders - he commits them too. In fact, he's a serial killer, but he only kills the guilty, so he feels justified with his lifestyle choices. His policewoman sister and his cop co-workers have no idea Dexter lives a double life; however, adoptive father Harry knows his secret, and does, in fact, help Dexter hone his skills. It's a unique brand of justice for which charming Dexter feels a psychological hunger." - Wiki
