Hey it's Jackie here, I decided to make a post referring to things us girls like such as makeup!
For instance: 20 mistakes we do with makeup.
1. not washing your brushes
2. putting bronzer on your whole face
3. matching foundation to the back of your hand
4. sleeping in your makeup
5. applying concealer wrong
6. applying lip liner to just the edges
7. wearing waterproof mascara every day
8. skipping base coat
9. using wrong blush formula
10. wearing to much foundation
11. not using primer with glitter eyeshadow
12. not setting your concealer
13. curling your lashes with mascara on
14. applying your blush incorrectly
15. adding nail polish remover to thin out old lacquers
16. applying makeup in the wrong lighting
17. keeping makeup for too long
18. applying the wrong shade of concealer.
19. pumping the brush in an almost empty mascara tube
20. using the wrong primer for your foundation formula
and these are just some things we do incorrectly with makeup, theres a huge list that goes on forever!
for the first step theres a easy way to clean your brushes.
what you'll need
-your brushes
- 1 tsp. dish soap
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- small bowl with 3-4 tbsp. cold water
step 1.
add soap and oil to the bowl of water.
step 2.
dip brushes in the water until a lather forms in the bowl. (which is when it gets all bubbly and such)
step 3.
rinse brus under cool sink water.
step 4.
squeeze off excess water and rest the brushes onto a clean paper towel.
step 5.
dry brushes facing down so water doesn't get trapped inside.

pinterest is great with do's and dont's on makeup! they have things from what to wear, how to do it, how to apply it, and everything, especially great diy's.
Also youtube is filled with great beauty geru's, i'll list a few i watch.
