Street Style and Concept boards

Whats street style to you?

Street style is a mixture of outfits created from different culture affects from all over the world. The outfits start by getting inspired. It usually holds a piece from you and also people base it off of celebrities, models, their own neighbors, and friends and more. In the fashion industry they try to predict the future street style. By creating mood boards also known as concept boards and such with mixed topic ideas such as health goth. Which is a mixture of athletic wear and goth wear. At the moment im creating my own mood board for school, which i'll get into details later when i finish it. If anyone doesn't know what a mood board is, this is a example i found on google. 

They labled it indian summer and used a basis of the color satches as you see on the top middle and those colors are found through the board. Also they mixed the summer concept with indian culture. Thats a example of the mood board. Which in the fashion industry they hire people to create them to forecast what they think is next in style. They aren't going to use a used up topic like for instance when you're in english class and you talk about a story the middle of a story is the climax which is the main point and after that the end is the resoulation. You dont want to come out with a outfit that is the resoulation in the fashion industry. You want the start of the story in between to the climax. Which is how they forecast whats next. For instance runway shows like the Merecedes Benz Fashion Week they hold it during winter and they post their fashion for fall of the year. They have to plan ahead and thats how these boards and such help. Like forecasting weather. It's the same with fashion. So mood boards/concept boards help create the concept of Street Style.
